September 5th, 2008 at 4: 15 pm j-p has got to go, and soon … … i know that it's preferred to make your moves in the off season, but i think they need to act sooner rather than later … to let the players that are on the verge of leaving know that the wind is shifting. i was at a game a few weeks ago in toronto; jays-yankees, halliday won the game easily 14-3, and the atmosphere was like a party, where most of the fans didnt know or care who their team even was! but the thing i noticed more was that most of the team merchandise worn that game was yankees stuff. a week later i heard dave hodge rant about the lack of team spirit in the stands, for much the same reason, and it makes me wonder … will the true hardcore fan ever be seen again in skydome, and is there any chance of seeing them if the team doesn't find a more competant gm? ❋ Unknown (2008)
