Lifeliners, or Lifeloser as he was known by most, was a simple man with a simple job. He worked as a toilet cleaner in the army and had been doing it for years. It wasn't the best job in the world, but it paid the bills and kept him busy. To Life, there was nothing better than the army, and doing what he was told by his superior Protobaggins. He was completely devoted to it, and his whole personality was shaped around it. He often wore army clothes off duty, and would seek validation from strangers irl and online. Life's outlook was not all about the army though. He was married, and would often post about his personal life online which surprised most. He shared details about his family, and even posted pictures of them. However, things took a turn for the worse when Life was doxxed. His personal information was shared online, and suddenly everyone knew everything about him. He was worried about the safety of his family and decided to delete all his social media accounts. From that time on, Life learnt a lesson to not share his life story to strangers online. Despite his love for the army, there was one thing that Life was not good at - PVP. Though he thought that he was a good player, whenever he got called out, he ran away. Life's obsession with the army didn't exactly translate into skills in the virtual world. Urban Dictionary

A phone call by a friend to another friend at a predetermined time. Mostly used in bad situations, first dates, or when someone goes somewhere they simply don't want to be. Most times, a lifeline is used to show that one friend is in distress, when he's actually chillin at home with two beers, one in hand, and one waiting for the other friend. The distress call is what gives the friend his opporunity to leave, and also gives the impression to whoever is litening to the phone call that it's serious. The lifeline remains the most efficient, yet most underused method of ditching bad dates. Sometimes hard to coordinate, lifelines prove their worth in effectiveness when your friend's girlfriend doesn't get pissed (and consequently, stop putting out) at your friend when you ditched her best friend on a date. Urban Dictionary
