Alexander Lightwood, also known as Alec Lightwood, is a fictional character in Cassandra Clare's shadowhunter series. Parabatai and loyal friends to Jace Herondale, his mother and father were members of Valentine's "circle" before realizing the terrors he could create. His younger sister, Isabelle (whom he is very protective of) has a close acquaintance with vampires.
