It strikes me as much more American to prefer accurate officiating so that the merit of the players (and occasionally, the whims of nature – see the mayflies from the Cleveland/New York ACLS a few years ago, or the high winds that turned an NYM game into a home run derby this year) is the deciding factor. ❋ Unknown (2010)
