Montezuma, Moctezuma, or Montecuzoma, was a Mexica (or Aztec) name. It's meaning is "His Angry Lord, Archer of the Sky". There were two Montezuma emperors. The first was nicknamed "HuehueMontezuma" (old Montezuma) or Montezuma Ilhuicamina (Montezuma the big one), although contemporarly known as Montezuma I.
