During the last week of the excavations, the central tholos of the Macellum was cleaned on the occasion of the visit of the KULeuven Alumni. ❋ Unknown (2009)

The second inscription, probably an acclamation mentioning the city, dated to the second century A.D., was found on one of the parapet plates of the central tholos. ❋ Unknown (2003)

If there ever was a statue of the emperor on display in the complex it will either have stood in the central tholos or in a similar sacellum in the center of the north wing. ❋ Unknown (2003)
