I have tested the 35mm af-d f/2 and I really think it doesn't match the voigtlander (no scientific tests, just on field, but still enough to notice it) if you read aboit Coigtlander you'll see they actually are partners with Leica and Zeiss, they are manufacturing their lenses in the Zeiss factory and they appear to be the first optical company in the world (says since 1756) ..... ❋ Unknown (2010)

Subject opinions please: sigma 50 1.4 vs voigtlander 40 2.0 for a while i have been debating between a 35 1.4 and sigma 50 1.4 (had a wonderful copy but sold it to finance the 85 1.2) only to find myself in need of something between a 35 and 50mm. but the new kid on the block, voigtlander 40 2.0 is right in-between, read very good reviews from nikonians. i cannot care less about the manual focus, so this will not be an issue for me. ❋ Unknown (2010)
