A native or inhabitant of the west of a region (or of the world as a whole).

Traditional cultures base their society on beliefs, and without deliberation, a culture with beliefs will be less likely to have those with radical ideas, like capitalism and communism. Capitalism favors the majority's human needs and desires while leaving out everybody else and nonconformists.
